The cultural diversity of the sub-Saharan African communities that we work with is also reflected by an interdisciplinary and multicultural team:

  • Lazare Manirankunda, is a medical doctor responsible for promotion of HIV testing and developing and implementing primary prevention activities. He is the coordinator of the community-based working.
  • Charles Ddungu, is a theologian and an anthropologist. He is responsible for positive prevention, i.e. individual patient support, facilitation of peer support and patient support groups and advice to professionals.
  • Christiana Nöstlinger, is a clinical and health psychologist and is the coordinator of the HIV-SAM Project.
  • Monique Ceulemans, is a translator and provides administrative support.
