Complementary to the support groups, we also offer individual support. People living with HIV can contact our project for individual culturally sensitive counseling and support. We also organize peer to peer support, for patients who want to share experiences with others who find themselves in the same situation, but prefer a one-to-one conversation. Sharing their stories and experiences can be helpful and comforting, especially when shared with a person who knows what living with HIV means, and who comes from the same cultural background.   Topics vary, but often touch for instance on HIV-related stigma or HIV disclosure, and migration-related concerns.

Would you like to learn more about possible types of support, or are you considering to become involved as a peer?
